HEATING PLATES FOR THERMAL CAKE DRYING (TCD)
Thermal cake drying is the newest development to expand our product line of filter plates. During thermal cake drying, the filter cake is dewatered and dried in the filter press. A dry substance content of over 90% can be achieved with the help of thermal cake drying (TCD).
 
Thus, a subsequential drying process of the filter cake in a separate system can be omitted. Low investment costs compared to the cost savings of energy and dewatering by using the TCD technology.

Different feed eye positions can be designed for individual requirements
Temperature The TCD heating elements and the combined membrane plates are suitable for temperatures of up to 120°C.
Materials The TCD heating element is a combination of steel and plastic. The body is made of heat stabilized plastic and acts as insulator towards the outside. The metal plate acts as heat conductor for optimum energy transfer on the filter cake.
