Klinkau Filter Elements are used in the coal mining treatment plants to dewater fine coal . More applications can be found in preparation plants of different mines. In those plants chamber filter plates and membrane filter plates are used for dewatering copper - cobalt - nickel and other minerals.

METAL REFINERIES

In metal refineries, the metal in the ore concentrations is decomposed with mineral acids, chemically dissolved and separated in subsequent precipitation processes. Membrane filter plates are preferrably used here, in order to achieve a quantitatively high yield during cake washing. These are common applications in the production of cadmium, zinc, copper, nickel, but also precious metals.
